The province's Pharmacare program is set to fund nine new drugs and 79 new generic drugs and say it will not cost any more based on the growing number of cheaper generic drugs being used.

Manitoba's pharmacare program is picking up the cost of nine new drugs. The drugs are used to treat conditions such as HIV-AIDS, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis and schizophrenia.
